A Cut Above the Rest

The unrivaled flavor and mouth-watering tenderness of Fullblood Kuroge Washu Wagyu is a beef lover’s dream.  With its soft buttery texture and intense marbling profile, the Kuroge Washu are known to impress even the most discerning connoisseur.  The Kuroge Washu or “Japanese Black” Wagyu are the breed behind such brands as Matsusaka, Miyazaki, Omi and Kobe beef. While each brand has its own prefectural guidelines separating itself from the others, they all share one commonality.  They are all Kuroge Washu (Japanese Black) Wagyu. At Nipper Ranch Beef, our Fullblood Kuroge Washu Wagyu are long fed a proprietary feed ration with fine texture and marbling in mind. Our goal is to satisfy the demand of eager palates waiting to try the best beef with which their taste buds have ever come in contact.

Belted Galloway "Belties"

Belted Galloway or “Belties” as they are sometimes called, are a Scottish breed of cattle that developed in the sixteenth century in the former Galloway district of Scotland.

They are thought to be a result of cross-breeding of traditional Galloway and the similar-looking dutch lakenvelder. Belted Galloway are also known to produce a quality marbled beef.

At Nipper Ranch Beef we raise these “Belties” on pasture for the majority of their life and finish them out with the same proprietary feed ration as we do with our Wagyu.

“Belties” are higher in protein, calcium, niacin and conjugated linoleic acid but lower in cholesterol, saturated fats and calories than the USDA standard. Look for Nipper Ranch Beef to provide a healthier option to your diet today!
